Market situation is fairly good this time around compared to last year, claimed rawhide traders in Bangladesh even if they added there is demand for rawhide in the markets and there have been no incidents of rawhide being dumped into rivers or anywhere else throughout Bangladesh over price issue.
This was underlined in the media reports, which cited concerned rawhide traders in this regard.
“From what we can see so far, this year the market is faring better than last year,” reportedly, claimed the President of the Bangladesh Hide and Skin Merchants’ Association, Aftab Khan, speaking to media, even as he, reportedly, expressed apprehensions price of rawhide could, however, drop.
