The profit for Matin Spinning Mills increased by 790 per cent on an annual basis to Taka 9.55 crore during the January-March quarter.
According to a filing the business made today with the Dhaka Stock Exchange, earnings per share (EPS) for the third quarter were Taka 0.98, up from Taka 0.11 a year earlier.
The EPS for the July 2023–March 2024 period was Taka 1.56, down from Taka 3.99 in the same time the previous year, meaning that Matin Spinning did not have the same growth in the first nine months of the financial year.
For the July 2023–March 2024 period, net operating cash flow per share was Taka 10.2, down from Taka 14.3 in the previous year.
Matin Spinning can produce 51,000 kilogrammes of finished yarn per day and offers a large variety of yarns. On its website, the mill states that it also makes pre- and post-consumer yarns from recycled materials.
