X-Rite Inc., which develops colour measurement and management systems, software, and services, has provided US-based Association of Textile, Apparel and Materials Professionals (AATCC) a new Ci7860 spectrophotometer for use in its lab.
Specifically designed to minimize the contribution of inter-instrument agreement to colour variation, ensuring accurate and consistent colour control, Ci7860 spectrophotometer will be used for various projects related to test method development and quality control materials.

Furthermore, AATCC will use the spectrophotometer in demonstrations during workshops related to colour management and measurement. The donation is the latest addition to AATCC’s laboratory at its technical centre in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA. It may be mentioned here that instrumental colour measurement is a critical component of AATCC’s work.
Worth noting here is that X-Rite has been an active corporate member of AATCC since 1994.
