Based in Faridabad, Bee. K. Bee. Prints is one of the best process houses in Delhi-NCR. As part of its growth strategies, the company is now gearing towards adding digital printing to its repertoire. It plans to invest approximately Rs.5 crore in their digital printing setup. The company already possesses expertise in rotary printing as well as dyeing.
Digital printing has been gaining momentum and growing in demand in the textile industry in the recent times. Many companies across the supply chain are investing in this process. Industry experts feel that digital printing will go on to be more successful with the textile mills as the latter already has the right infrastructure to support it including preparatory, finishing and other needs.
The textile mills only need to install a digital printer and reap benefits of this advanced technology. This, in turn, ensures an increase of 10 to 15 per cent in cost effectiveness for the mills in comparison to the other digital printing players in the market.
Aman Batra, Director of the Bee. K. Bee. Prints said in a conversation with Apparel Resources, “We are planning for at-least 8 to 10 thousand meters per day in digital printing, only then it will be viable for us. Digital printing will help our clients to reduce cost. We will try to offer digital printing in a way that it is not for a niche and is in volume, in order to offer it on a better price. Another reason for investment in this process is to ensure not to miss out on the short quantities such as 1000 or even 2000 meter as sometimes we miss such orders. These small orders are quite possible on digital.” He further added that there is a transitory phase in digital technology and the companies are incorporating the same for reducing costs and improving efficiency.
The company has two units in Faridabad, one each for dyeing processing and the other for printing. Currently, with an annual turnover of Rs. 150 crores, Bee. K. Bee. Prints is moving towards stable growth in business.
