Following the recent large-scale complaints as received from the e-commerce customers pertaining to alleged malpractices in the e-commerce industry of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Government has decided to launch app and website on pilot basis to manage the complaints of the customers.
Media reports maintained this citing the concerned authorities.
Named the Central Complaint Management System (CCMP), the digital system will, reportedly, be created by a2i or the Access to Information Programme and operated by the DNCRP or the National Consumer Rights Protection.
The e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB), Ministry of Commerce and the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms will also be part of the digital system to settle the customers’ complaints, reports further added.
