Azfar Hassan, son of BGMEA President Faruque Hassan and Director at the Giant Group, has been nominated as the Chairman of BGMEA’s Standing Committee on Young Entrepreneurs for the year 2022-2023.
“…looking forward to working towards a better, stronger and a more united garment industry. The world needs to see and appreciate where we are and how we got here,” maintained Azfar Hassan in a LinkedIn post on being nominated for the same.
The BGMEA letter in this direction maintained that considering the deepening involvement of BGMEA with its members, the current board decided to reorganise the standing committee of the trade body to make them more functional and engaging.
“As a part of the process, I on behalf of the board, take the honour to nominate you as the Chairman of the BGMEA’s Standing Committee on Young Entrepreneur for the year 2022-2023,”underlined the BGMEA letter signed by the BGMEA President, which called upon Afzar to have a consultation with the BGMEA office bearers and accordingly complete the selection of full committee soon.
