A strategic move to Italy and Portugal
The company has positioned itself at the forefront of the garment industry, particularly serving major markets in the European Union, including Italy and Portugal. These countries have become key destinations due to their rich textile heritage, discerning consumer base and burgeoning demand for high-quality, sustainable fashion. Italy, renowned for its fashion industry, seeks innovative and stylish garments that align with contemporary trends, while Portugal has established itself as a leading hub for textile production, known for its craftsmanship and commitment to sustainability. By aligning its product development and market strategies with the unique needs of these markets, Tex Solution Consulting aims to foster strong relationships, enhance its offerings and drive forward its mission of quality and sustainability in apparel production.
The company made a strategic decision to establish its office, Modatex.G s.r.l, with a product development team in Italy. “Italy is not only a global hub for fashion but also a reservoir of textile innovation,” said Mohammed Zakir Hossain, adding, “By tapping into this expertise, we can enhance our products as well as quality and align our offerings more closely with European market trends.”
Having partnership with Giuseppe Rizzi – CEO, Managing Director – Modatex.G s.r.l, Tex Solution’s Italian team comprises 30-plus skilled professionals, working towards improving product quality, accelerating time-to-market for new offerings and fortifying the company’s competitive edge on a global scale. This team collaborates seamlessly with Tex Solution’s operations in Bangladesh, setting the stage for innovation and efficiency in garment production.
The efficiency of the production process has increased significantly due to the Italian team’s involvement. The Bangladeshi team’s expertise in production, quality control and product management has also improved owing to this collaboration, leading to better resource utilisation, streamlined workflows and reduced lead times. This facilitates real-time feedback between the design and production teams, ensuring that any potential issues are addressed promptly, which contributes to a smoother operational process.

There has been a noticeable uptick in orders too from Italy. “With improved product quality and faster turnaround times, we have seen a 30 per cent increase in orders from Italian clients over the last year. This growth not only underscores the benefits of the partnership but also reinforces the importance of quality and efficiency in meeting our customers’ expectations in the competitive market,” Mohammad Zakir added.
With growing focus on sustainability and innovation, the company has recently decided for expansion into Portugal. According to Mohammad Zakir, “Portugal presents exciting opportunities for us, thanks to our skilled team in Bangladesh and Italy and commitment to modernising traditional textile practices. We see this as an ideal environment for our sustainable growth initiatives.”
The company views Portugal as a strategic market, capitalising on its emerging trends to provide eco-friendly fashion solutions. With plans to integrate operations in Portugal and Italy, Tex Solution aims to foster collaboration and communication between both teams, creating a smoother workflow that enhances product development and supply chain efficiency.
Prioritising sustainability
The company is committed to producing sustainable products, exemplified by its innovative socks made from 100 per cent recycled polyester, which significantly reduces plastic waste. “We are dedicated to minimising detrimental chemical use and energy consumption, ensuring our production processes are aligned with global environmental standards,” stated Mohammad Zakir.
“We prioritise sourcing raw materials that are certified for sustainability, such as organic cotton and recycled synthetic fibres. This ensures that our products not only minimise environmental impact but also support responsible farming and production practices,” Mohammad Zakir added. According to him, the company conducts regular audits of its suppliers to ensure compliance with sustainability standards.
Embracing technology for efficiency
Tex Solution Consulting leverages advanced technologies like ERP and CAD to optimise its operational efficiency in order management and pattern design. By integrating these systems, the company can streamline processes, reduce lead times and enhance the accuracy of design and production workflows.
The company’s ambition to establish a state-of-the-art lab testing facility by January 2025 signifies its commitment to quality assurance and innovation in the denim segment. This facility will not only allow for rigorous testing of fabric durability, colours and sustainability but will also enable Tex Solution to develop proprietary tests that could set industry benchmarks. Moreover, its collaboration with a reputable European partner is expected to unlock new avenues for growth and technical expertise. This alliance will facilitate knowledge transfer in cutting-edge denim technologies and trends prevalent in the European market, enabling Tex Solution to enhance its product offerings.
Long-term vision and expansion strategies
Looking ahead, Tex Solution Consulting envisions itself as a leader in the garment industry. To put in the words of Mohammad Zakir, “Our future lies in diversification such as product lines, expansion in Europe, research and development and enhancing customer engagement.” Apart from strengthening its presence in Europe, the company is also planning to invest more in R&D as it is the need of the moment. It currently also desires to focus on developing new sustainable materials and innovative production techniques that reduce waste and energy consumption.
