US-based outdoor clothing retailer, Patagonia has launched an all-new exclusive ‘re\\\collection’ made with all sorts of recycled materials, including 100 per cent recycled down, 100 per cent recycled wool and 100 per cent recycled polyester with 85 per cent recycled polyester labels, 80 per cent recycled zippers and 50 per cent recycled buttons.
The ‘re\\\collection’ styles including ‘Patagonia Recycled Wool’ is made from 60 per cent discarded wool sweaters that are shred into usable fibre and mixed with 30 per cent recycled polyester, and 10 per cent recycled nylon for enhanced durability.

The cornerstone of its ‘re\\\collection’, Patagonia Recycled Down is a mix of 600-fill-power goose and duck down reclaimed from used items. By plucking some of its down (and associated fabrics) from the trash, Patagonia is reducing discards and helping to grow and add value to a recycling stream.
“Patagonia is distinctive because of all the environmental work that it does, and when we think about products, we think about all the environmental work before we start designing,” stated Miles Johnson, Creative Director of Product Design, Patagonia.
