Marks & Spencer recently announced the launch of an online outlet format, as it attempts to attract internet bargain hunters to the brand. The UK retailer permanently offers a large range of clothing products across women’s wear, lingerie, men’s wear and children’s wear at up to 40% off its standard price. “M&S has responded to its customers’ increased demand for online access to great value by extending popular outlet offer on their website – making it even easier for customers to treat themselves to the best of M&S at even better prices,” said M&S Outlet head Richard Fox.
The company said the categories will be regularly updated with merchandise from recent M&S collections, and customers will be able to choose from the timeless wardrobe staples such as knitwear, suits, dresses and shoes.
