Egypt has indicated that it would like to import rawhide from Bangladesh. This eagerness was conveyed by Egyptian Ambassador to Bangladesh Omar Mohie Eldin Ahmed Fahmy at a meeting at the Secretariat with State Minister for Commerce Ahasanul Islam Titu.
State Minister Titu stated during the meeting that the Ministry is negotiating trade agreements with 26 nations throughout the globe. After investment is completed, this nation can leverage the ASEAN countries’ commercial edge in Southeast Asia.
“Investment opportunities will increase if interested top business representatives of Egypt come to the country,” he stated.
Prior to this, Titu addressed the annual performance agreement (APA) signing event for the departments that make up the Ministry of Commerce. Under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s direction, the Ministry is working on the LDC transition.
More digitisation is necessary to improve services. To improve the departmental relationships, work needs to be done.
