VICUNHA TEXTIL, the world renowned denim producer, recently took part at the first ever denim show in Vietnam, Denimsandjeans.com Vietnam Show, held in Ho Chi Minh City on 16th and 17th of June, 2016.
The company reports that it succeeded in promoting their fabrics which are readily available in Colombo with a door-to-door delivery promise within 10 to 15 days of order placement, including ‘Klever’, a newly developed 11.oz premium comfort denim in a deep finish, ideal for menswear and the bi-stretch ‘Joyer’, an intense pure indigo denim, suitable for both womenswear and menswear, at Denimsandjeans.com Vietnam Show.
Besides, VICUNHA TEXTIL interacted with visitors from the apparel manufacturing setups world over, which helped the denim manufacturer form new business contacts.

The sustainable products from the company such as the 100 per cent recycled cotton article ‘Grover’ with an intense double denim blue and real vintage authenticity and super stretch articles for ladieswear like ‘Stefani’ made with reduced water technology were highly appreciated at the show.
“As a new venue the Denimsandjeans.com Vietnam Show was well located at Gem Centre, HCMC, the stands were well presented and the environment provided an ideal location. Given the location it was expected that there would be a heavier volume of visitors from manufacturing although there was a noticeable number of representatives from European brands who had travelled over from Hong Kong. This enabled fresh dialogues to be opened with new contacts and to reaffirm those already known, it was a great show for networking and endorsing existing partnerships,” said Thomas Dislich, Director of VICUNHA Europe and Asia.
The company is now set to explore Bangladesh denim market by participating at the upcoming events – Denimsandjeans.com Bangladesh Show, scheduled to be held on 5th and 6th of October, 2016 and Bangladesh Denim Expo on 8th and 9th November, 2016 with the aim of reinforcing their position in international denim market.
