The 14th edition of the two-day Denim Expo started at the Dhaka-based International Convention City Bashundhara on 16th May.
According to reports, about 90 foreign and domestic companies are participating in the expo with its theme being ‘Innovator’ even as they exhibit a range of products including fabrics, readymade garments, threads, parts, and processing materials.
The expo, apart from denim products, will also have four seminar sessions and panel discussions respectively
It may be mentioned here Bangladesh is considered a global powerhouse in denim and is also the largest denim exporter to the EU and USA.
Meanwhile, speaking to the media, founder of Bangladesh Denim Expo, Mostafiz Uddin has said that the expo has brought together major denim stakeholders from across the globe under one roof.
The expo’s objective is to showcase the country’s growth potential in the denim industry.
