The 14th International Women’s SME Expo-2024, which will run for a month, begins on Saturday at the Railway Pologround in Chittagong.
Under the direction of the SME Foundation and the Chattogram Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the women’s major trade event will take place.
At the Railway Polograound, 350 stalls total including 15 pavilions and information technology zones have already been put up over a four lakh square foot land area.
There will be a food court, a women’s area, and a startup zone for entrepreneurs.
Abida Mostafa, senior vice-president of the Chattogram Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, made this announcement during a press conference held at the Chattogram
Press Club’s Engineer Abdul Khalek Auditorium.
Entrepreneurs from Pakistan, Thailand, India, China, and Iran have confirmed their attendance at the fair.
CWCCI vice-presidents Nishat Imran, Shamim Morshed, Seema Khatun, directors Ruhi Mostafa, Baby Hasan, Ludmila Farid, members Chowdhury Zubair Saki, Rekha Alam Chowdhury and Khaleda Akhtar Chowdhury, among others, were present in the press conference.
