Specialising in dyeing and finishing machinery especially for knits, DMS Dilmenler Textile Machinery Co, Turkey, offers a complete range of machines for dyeing, drying, stentering, compacting, and also preparation machines from dyeing and finishing. “We have been present in the country since 1995-96 and it is the best market for us at the moment. The majority of the machines that we manufacture now are for the Bangladesh market,” said Ismail Senguler, General Manager representing the company at the fair. Due to the time spent in the country and the industry, the company has a deep understanding of the customers’ requirements and priorities, and as of now 25% of the machines manufactured by the company are running in the country.
Presently the focus of the company is on increasing its line of open width fabric finishing machines. “As a technology provider, our competitive edge is delivering water and energy-efficient equipments and our R&D centre in Turkey is continuously involved improving the existing technologies. Moreover, nowadays machines are getting outdated due to their technological life, not because of wear and tear, so our duty is to continuously innovate and improve the existing machines,” added Senguler.
For educating the industry on the sustainable methods of dyeing and finishing, the Turkish pioneer has opened an open knit dyeing house of itself in Turkey, which would do job work for the global apparel industry. “We would be actually testing, observing and working with a lot of different fabrics here, which would help us in developing the technology in accordance with the current market trends and the end-user brand does not know that which small product or design based demand of their can increase the water consumption by a huge amount,” averred Senguler. The company denies the fact that energy-and water-efficient machines are costlier than regular machines.
The HT Jumbo Fabric Dyeing Machine RDS, Dilcompact Open Width Shrinking Machine, Egalizing Air Relax Dryer and Dil-Ram Fabric Dyeing & Heat Setting Machine, were the highlight of the companies showcase at the fair. The HT Jumbo is designed and manufactured to dye any kind of open width fabric made of natural, synthetic fibres and its blends, such as open width knitted cotton and cotton Lycra, viscose and viscose Lycra and all kinds of towel fabric and bath mats. The DMS 11 JUMBO (RDS), dyeing both knitted and woven fabrics, is able to process fabrics in the range from 70 grams per minute up to 2300 grams per minute in weight by choosing the right nozzle. Machine is available in various capacities starting from 25 kg up to 2000 kg with both high and low temperature capabilities.
