This year Pegasus displayed its sewing machines and equipment that produces “Kan-nui” (chainstitch), while placing importance on quality and price to achieve a higher degree of customer satisfaction in technology, both software and hardware, as well as taking into account the working environment of factories.
Amongst the machines on display were the new stain-free Minimum Lubrication System (MLS) Plus series that have addressed the problem of oil stains on sewn products. These machines are equipped with Pegasus’ unique lubrication system based on their ‘Oil Barrier’ technology. Adopting a stable and extremely minimal lubrication system which solves the problem of oil stains without decreasing the maximum machine speed, reduces wasted effort, such as oil removing operations and increases productivity.
Thanks to this system, oil is supplied to the necessary areas as required, preventing parts from developing a problem. In addition, the oil circulated through each part is accurately drained, preventing oil leakage and oil splashes. The needle bar and upper looper shaft have been given a special coating to offer resistance to wear. There also include a newly designed seal and a recently developed bushing, that increase the “Oil Barrier” effectiveness, thereby preventing oil leakage and oil splashes. This “Oil Barrier” feature completely blocks even one drop of oil leaking from the needle bar and the relevant parts while the machine is running, or even when not operational at night. Thanks to these features, the MLS plus machines protect the garments against oil stains.
