
The Aligarh-based MI Fabrics’ will be ready with an operational textile printing and dyeing unit this March. Located near Yamuna (Taj) Expressway, the new unit will be equipped with latest technologies from leading machine suppliers such as Monforts, Benninger, Goller, Lafer, Ostheoff, James H Heel, and Reggiani. The company will focus heavily on faster servicing to clients, zero defects, and ‘first time right’ for a large segment of their products. The new unit is initially expected to produce 1.25 lakh metres per day of fabric, mainly bottom fabric, with around 60 per cent meant for exports and the remaining targeted at the domestic market.
