Faruque Hassan, President of the BGMEA, engaged in a meeting with AVM Javed Tanveer Khan, the Ambassador of Bangladesh in Lebanon, to seek collaboration aimed at amplifying garment exports to Lebanon.
The said meeting convened on 14th August at the BGMEA complex in Uttara, Dhaka, in the presence of Miran Ali, Vice President of BGMEA.
Discussions at the meeting circled around multiple subjects, prominently focusing on potential trade avenues between Bangladesh and Lebanon while also highlighting the latest advancements and evolution within Bangladesh’s garment sector.
Hassan laid the importance of devising strategies to bolster clothing exports to Lebanon in order to gain the Ambassador’s cooperation in achieving the objective and urged global stakeholders to spotlight the accomplishments of the industry.
Notably, the BGMEA President accentuated the industry’s endeavors in crafting high-value garments while actively expanding exports to both established and emerging markets. This diplomatic exchange aimed to fortify economic ties and foster mutually beneficial growth.
