The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Foundation has awarded an accreditation certificate to TÜV Rheinland to serve as a global training provider to brands and manufacturers globally.
“The ZDHC certificate will be an addition to professional qualifications and improve long-term career prospects for those taking up the course. Candidates will be given a personal ZDHC certificate after successful completion of the new training programme aimed at enterprises,” informed Markus Dohm, Executive Vice President, Business Stream Academy & Life Care for TÜV Rheinland.
The inspection services provider will promote the ‘practice of responsible chemical management’ in the textile industry. The training programmes have been designed to help industry players gain more knowledge and encourage sustainable production processes.
The company will conduct its initial training sessions on ‘Introduction to Chemical Management,’ in Vietnam from October and November
The sessions will also be organised for the textile industry in Bangladesh, Turkey and Italy in the coming months.
After conducting sessions on Introduction to Chemical Management, TÜV Rheinland will work with the industry experts to impart knowledge on other important topics to achieve ‘zero discharge of hazardous chemicals’.
