Saad Group, in collaboration with the Ismail Anjuman Ara Welfare Trust, launched the “Shastho Sathi” health card distribution program. The initiative aims to provide healthcare benefits to 15,000 employees across the Saad Group.
The launch event took place at the Nice Denim factory grounds in Maona Uttar Para village, where Nur-E-Yasmin Fatima, Chairperson of Saad Group, supervised the proceedings. The “Shastho Sathi” cards will allow workers and their families—encompassing children and parents—to receive financial assistance for medical expenses, which will be covered by Saad Group and the Ismail Anjuman Ara Welfare Trust.
The event attracted notable members of the Bangladeshi media, and Chairperson Nur-E-Yasmin Fatima expressed her commitment to ongoing developmental initiatives, requesting continued support from the community.
To ensure comprehensive healthcare for the workers, a long-term agreement has been established with local healthcare providers, Al Hera Hospital and Al Hera Medical Center. This partnership will guarantee regular medical services for the employees.
Chairperson Nur-E-Yasmin Fatima emphasised the importance of health, advising workers on maintaining cleanliness and a balanced diet. She encouraged them to manage their finances wisely to afford nutritious meals for their families.
Founded by prominent figures in the Bangladeshi textile industry, Saad Group is specialising in denim, home textiles, and composite textiles. Its key divisions include Nice Denim Mills Ltd, one of the largest denim fabric manufacturers in the country, producing up to 72 million yards annually; Noman Home Textile Mills Ltd, offering high-quality bed linens and curtains; Saad Textile Processing Ltd, focused on advanced dyeing and finishing; and Saan Composite Textile Ltd, ensuring end-to-end textile production.
