
In an incident early Thursday, two covered vans were set ablaze when assailants threw flammable substances at them on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, specifically at the Bhogra Bypass intersection. This is as per media reports.
Abdus Samad, senior station master of Joydebpur Fire Service, reported that the ignitable substances were targeted at both a stationary and a moving covered van during the early morning hours.
Promptly informed, a firefighting unit swiftly responded to the scene, successfully extinguishing the flames.
Notably, both covered vans were transporting goods from readymade garment factories.
