One of Bangladesh’s leading business conglomerates, the Bangladesh Export Import Company Limited or BEXIMCO, recently observed the World Environment Day.
According to the press communique issued by the company, BEXIMCO celebrated the occasion at the South Asia’s largest and only LEED certified Green Industrial Park, the BEXIMCO Industrial Park, on 5 June (Saturday).
According to reports, the BEXIMCO Group Director and CEO Syed Naved Husain planted trees at the BEXIMCO Industrial Park on this occasion and also distributed 500 trees to the local communities while also leading an awareness rally to save lives and planet and to restore the ecosystem.
It may be mentioned here that founded in the 1970s, BEXIMCO is a leading business conglomerate headquartered in Dhaka with diverse business interests and operates one of the largest integrated textile production businesses in Asia.
