The BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) has announced a new partnership aimed at improving the connection between academic learning and industry practices. The university has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shin Shin Group and Epyllion Group, marking a significant milestone for BUFT.
The ceremony took place at the university’s Nishatnagar campus and was attended by key figures including Faruque Hassan, Chairman of BUFT’s Board of Trustees and former President of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA). Representatives from the partnering organisations of both Shin Shin Group, Epyllion Group were also present at the event.
During the ceremony, speakers emphasised the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and industry players in driving growth and innovation within Bangladesh’s apparel and textile sectors.
