The OEKO-TEX®️ Association, represented by Hohenstein Institute Bangladesh, recently held a seminar on Training and Development in OEKO-TEX®️ STANDARD 100 for Textile Engineering students at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) as a major step towards improving sustainability in the textile industry.
The internationally known OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 was thoroughly explained at the session, with an emphasis on its vital function in guaranteeing that textiles are free of dangerous materials. Important information on the certification requirements, the procedures, and their uses in the sector was given to the participants.
