BEXIMCO or Bangladesh Export Import Company Limited is the latest to be welcomed to the ZDHC or Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals Community.
Media reports maintained this while adding BEXIMCO, which believes in best sustainability practices starting from raw material purchase to final product delivery, has joined the ZDHC Community as a contributor.
“By becoming a part of ZDHC, the Bangladesh Export Import Company Limited, with respect to chemical usage and waste management in the global textile industry, will be able to cast a wider engagement to ensure circular textiles by becoming a contributor to ZDHC,” reportedly opined Chief Sustainability Officer at BEXIMCO Dr. Mohidus Samad Khan.
Dr. Khan further reportedly maintained that for the betterment of the global environment, the entity (BEXIMCO) wants to get involved with supply chain partners for effective collaboration and partnership.
