Veit Group is considered to be a pioneer of finishing as well as ironing technology. This year, their portfolio included a wide range of finishing, pressing and fusing machines capable of providing cost effective solutions to the garment industry.
One of the crowd pullers at the fair was the latest tunnel finisher VEIT 8625 which finishes the garments in the hangers itself, thereby increasing the productivity to more than 1000 pcs/hr. It was connected to steam and compressed air to simulate the actual industrial environment. The machine is unique with its aero dynamic design on the hot air circulation, chamber separators, and simple controls to change the temperature and speed.
Another attraction was the new 3610 shirt folding station used to fold the shirts with ease and convenience so as to improve the productivity and quality of the folding. This machine itself is capable of folding up to 90-100 shirts per hour. The folding station includes such features as the knee operated folding unit, which leaves the operator’s hands free to fold the shirts, thereby increasing the productivity. Another feature is the automatic tuck-in for the shirt-folding units, which helps to decrease the time consumed to fold a shirt and also the tuck-in plate helps to keep the tuck-in uniform. It has a single block collar holder, which helps to have a uniform collar shape. A heated mat is used for the collar shape to ensure perfect shaping and smoothening of the collar during the folding operation. Side clamps on the folding units help to fold pinless/clipless shirts.
In addition to these, Veit also showcased its pressing solutions to produce formal shirts. The HPV 2 twinstar shirt pressing machine has a unique oil heated chrome plated stainless steel bucks that help to press the shirts at very high temperatures. The production can go up to 2400pcs/8 hrs due to the unique unloader and transfer system arrangement.
Among the fusing machines on display were the new BX machines with twin thermostat controls, longer heat zones, special roller to have high specific pressure for shirts that help to improve the consistency in the fusing machine with considerable increase in productivity due to its longer heat zone.
