London will host the February 2025 edition of Source Fashion, the premier responsible sourcing event in Europe, from 18th-20th February. Attracting hundreds of producers and manufacturers from major sourcing regions such as Turkey, India, Taiwan, Ethiopia, China, the UK, France, and Portugal, the event will offer a forum for crucial conversations on sourcing and sustainability in the fashion industry.
With a wide selection of items ranging from fabrics and raw materials to trims, packaging, and contract manufacturing services, Source Fashion seeks to link global manufacturers with the UK fashion buying community. To expedite the sourcing process, exhibitors will be grouped by product type in this year’s updated floor plan.
Source Debates, a specialised content area devoted to timely subjects in an ethical manner, is a noteworthy new feature for 2025. This effort seeks to promote discussion among attendees, businesses, and industry professionals in order to collaboratively explore workable solutions to contemporary sustainable fashion concerns.
The February event will include inspiring case studies, panels, and interviews with top fashion retail executives in addition to Source Debates and the current Catwalk Stage, which will provide live catwalk performances three times a day.
Several well-known retailers and brands, such as John Lewis, ASOS, Reiss, House of Fraser, and many more, attended the July 2024 exhibition.
With a focus on sustainability and innovation, Source Fashion 2025 promises to be an essential
event for anyone involved in the fashion industry.
The Bangladesh RMG industry would be well placed to attend the event since it will have participants from over the world.
Bangladesh, which employs more than 4.4 million people in the textile and apparel manufacturing sector, is recognised for its inexpensive labour and accounts for a large part of worldwide fashion production.
However, with the establishment of more than 200 recognised “green factories” that employ technology and process improvement to reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing, Bangladesh has achieved significant progress in environmentally friendly production during the past 15 years.
