The Hult Prize 2024-25 will be held for the third consecutive year at Textile Engineering College, Noakhali (TECN). This prestigious international social entrepreneurship competition, which collaborates with the United Nations and Hult International Business School, encourages students to develop their entrepreneurial skills and create innovative solutions to pressing social issues.
The core committee recently conducted registrations for the organising committee from 28th November to 3rd December, with interviews taking place on 5th-6th December. The results of these interviews will be announced soon, marking the beginning of the main activities for this year’s competition.
Last year, the Hult Prize at TECN witnessed an impressive turnout, with over 80 participants forming 19 teams that demonstrated their entrepreneurial spirit. Following a competitive first round, 9 teams progressed to the semifinals, and ultimately, 5 teams reached the grand finale. The final round was marked by a fierce competition of ideas, culminating in Team ‘The Axiom’ being crowned the champion. The event was evaluated by a panel of experienced judges from various sectors, ensuring a rigorous standard of assessment.
With new leadership and a growing interest in social entrepreneurship, this year’s Hult Prize promises to be an exciting and impactful event at TECN.
