Hoffman/New Yorker, Inc. is among the oldest designers and manufacturers of two distinct product programmes consisting of garment/apparel presses for the garment manufacturers and laundry/dry cleaning presses for the processors. Today, the company maintains these product programmes as two separate divisions. The company has also added a few more specialized machines like fusing machinery for shirt makers, wrinkle free processing machinery for trousers and shirts, a product line of automated vertical machines for specific tailored clothing manufacturing needs.
With displays of their various buck pressing units specific for pressing of different shirt parts such as the body, the collar and the cuffs, the company is expected to put up a strong show at CISMA this year.
On display will be the Hoffman SLSBC-BVP, a single buck shirt body pressing unit, which can simultaneously finish the body, sleeves and pleats. Integral blowers and heat exchanger supply high volume super heated air to sleeves and permeable sides and yoke bags ensure a quality finish and reduced cycle times. The available buck sizes vary from 10” to 23”, thus very beneficial for finishing large sizes. The machine also comes with built-in diagnostic system for easy maintenance.
The Hoffman model DBR-BVP is a rotating double buck unit and has all the unique features of the above SLSBC-BVP machine. Yet another double buck model machine is SLD-BV machine that will be on display at CISMA. This machine differs from DBR-BVP as it is not a rotating buck pressing machine. Otherwise all features are similar to the above mentioned models.
The Hoffman SLALC-8-T is a buck pressing unit for finishing collars and cuffs to reducing cycle time by 26%. It has an extremely smooth, quiet and fast operation and is ergonomically designed. The other machine that will also be showcased is the Hoffman CSL Sleever, which is to be used for finishing sleeves in the perfect way. It has all similar technical properties as all the other models and promises to deliver superior quality.
