The 23rd Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2025 (Winter Edition) is scheduled to take place from January 15 to January 18 at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka. This significant event, which serves the textile and garment sector in Bangladesh and across South Asia, is co-organized by CEMS-Global USA and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT TEX).
A recent press release announced that over 325 exhibitors from more than 15 countries will showcase a diverse selection of products, including yarn, fabric, trims, and accessories. During a press conference held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, Meherun N Islam, the president and group managing director of CEMS-Global, provided details about the exhibition.
Emphasising Bangladesh’s position as one of the leading apparel exporters globally, Islam noted the event’s importance as a platform for industry stakeholders to foster collaboration and engage in meaningful discussions, ultimately enhancing the event’s value. According to her,this exhibition will showcase an opportunity for the textile and garment sectors in Bangladesh and South Asia to explore sourcing options in textile markets.
This edition marks the 8th year of collaboration between CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT TEX, aimed at promoting the textile industry in Bangladesh and enhancing the country’s export capabilities.
Chen Bo, deputy secretary general and director of the Sub-Council of Textile Industry at CCPIT TEX, participated in the press conference virtually from Beijing, highlighting the international importance of the upcoming event.
