The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT) sat for a meeting on 28th August to discuss pressing challenges in container handling and shipment clearance.
BGMEA was represented by Directors Kazi Mizanur Rahman, Mohammad Sohel, and Enamul Aziz Chowdhury, along with Mozammel Haque Bhuiyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on One-Stop Service. From RSGT, the delegation included Syed Aref Sarwar, Head of Commercial and Public Affairs, and Mohammad Tariq, Head of Customer Relations.
Both sides reviewed existing bottlenecks in operations and stressed the need for joint efforts to resolve them. They also underscored that stronger collaboration would not only benefit BGMEA members but also contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of Bangladesh’s apparel sector.
