In a significant meeting aimed at enhancing bilateral trade, the Bangladesh Garment Buying Association (BGBA) and a delegation from the Italian Embassy convened to explore opportunities for deepening cooperation between Bangladesh and Italy. One of the primary focuses of the meeting was improving visa facilitation, with both sides emphasising the need to simplify and expedite the processing of long-term, multiple-entry visas. This initiative is expected to benefit BGBA members by streamlining business travel and enhancing collaboration between Italian and Bangladeshi enterprises.
BGBA President Md Mohammad Mofazzal Hosen Pabel and Secretary General Mohammed Zakir Hossain were present at the meeting, along with other key stakeholders. They discussed strategies for expanding trade and cooperation, laying a solid foundation for long-term partnerships between the two nations.
