Responsible fashion label Nobody’s Child is enhancing its clothing collections by incorporating digital product passports, through its new collection called, the Happy Place by Fearne Cotton collection. Through scanning a QR code on the care label, customers gain access to comprehensive details regarding the materials utilised, the manufacturing process, and the environmental footprint of their purchase. Moreover, the QR code provides links to circular services like repair and rental options.
Furthermore, scanning the QR code offers customers the opportunity to enroll for exclusive rewards, including a distinctive non-fungible token serving as a digital receipt storable in a Coinbase digital wallet. Nobody’s Child is set to initiate the implementation of digital product passports, developed in collaboration with retail tech firm Fabacus, across its primary collection starting from AW24. This strategic move aligns with the brand’s objective of attaining complete traceability and transparency.
Jody Plows, CEO of Nobody’s Child, expressed enthusiasm about introducing the latest iteration of their digital product passport initiative, emphasising the brand’s commitment to transparency and accountability. By equipping customers with insights into the origins of their garments, Nobody’s Child aims to cultivate a deeper bond with their products and promote conscious consumption among its clientele.
