
There seems to be a wave of appointing new Design Heads in the fashion industry… as recently only Anthony Vaccarello replaced Hedi Slimane as the new Creative Director of Yves Saint Laurent. Massimiliano Giornetti too did the same by exiting from his role at Salvatore Ferragamo; and earlier last month Brioni appointed Justin O’Shea as its Creative Director.

And now…, Gieves & Hawkes’ Creative Director Simon Spurr has stepped down from his role prior to revealing his first collection at London Collections (Men): Spring/Summer 2017. The news of his departure has come just after five months of his appointment. Spurr will be replaced by Mark Frost, who has worked as Head of Design at Savile Row tailor since January last year.
