
Future Retail, leading retailer that operates multiple retail formats in both value and lifestyle segment of Indian consumer market, has announced financial results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2017.
During the quarter under review, the retailer noted a 15 per cent increase in net profit to Rs. 120.6 crore from Rs. 104.6 crore in the same period a year ago. This was disclosed in a statement issued by the company.
During the said quarter, total income from operations of the company went up by around 25 per cent to Rs. 4,483.84 crore from Rs. 3,578.08 crore in the corresponding period last year. Profit for the company during the year increased by 25 fold and stood at Rs. 365.59 crore compared to Rs. 14.32 crore a year ago.

The total income of the company at the end of 2016-17 jumped over 2 fold to Rs 17,075.09 crore, compared to Rs 6845.13 crore in previous fiscal.
