Innovative activewear label Fabletics, co-founded by Kate Hudson in 2013, announces it’s first-ever collaboration with music star Demi Lovato. With the brand’s core mission of investing in the growth of all women via healthy and active lifestyle choices – regardless of size, shape, age or ability – the new ‘Demi Lovato for Fabletics’ limited-edition capsule collection will take this mission of female empowerment and body positivity forward.
Kate Hudson, Co-Founder, Fabletics calls Lovato a very organic choice for their premier collaboration, adding, “When we first met, I remember being so impressed by how intelligent, accomplished and confident Demi was, even at such a young age. I loved her spirit, her honesty and how she was open to showing vulnerability, because that shows so much strength. She naturally came to mind as I was thinking about creating our first collaboration for Fabletics.”
The collection features garments inspired from Lovato’s unique personal style and will upkeep the brand’s constant partnership with the United Nations Foundation’s Girl Up movement – a “by girls, for girls” initiative that empowers girls to become a force of change for girls all the world over. Discussing the collaboration, Demi Lovato said, “When I was approached by Kate to do a collaboration for Fabletics, I couldn’t have been more excited. I am thrilled to lend my voice to such a powerful brand and organization, both of which represent many of the values I stand for – particularly the importance of empowering girls. Being involved in the creative design process while being able to have a daily impact on young girls’ lives around the world is so rewarding to me, making this initiative very dear to my heart.”
