The beleaguered Bangladesh e-commerce platform Evaly, which had been mired in controversies, has 1,736 items worth Taka 9 crore in its Baliapur warehouse and 2,659 items worth Taka 16 crore in Pink City warehouse, while it also has Taka 25 crore in cash at the payment gateway.
This was, reportedly, disclosed at a press conference of Evaly board members on 1 July, while adding the e-commerce platform has liabilities to customers and merchants worth Taka 1,000 crore.
At the press meet, the board members further, reportedly, added with the asset and money remaining, it is quite impossible for Evaly to meet the arrears of clients and merchants.
