Ahsan Mahmood has joined Nordic Sourcing as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As CEO, he is responsible for the overall operation of Bangladesh, including business planning, operations, sourcing, and other tasks.
Prior to joining Nordic Sourcing, he was the regional leader (Bangladesh and India) for the major Swedish brand. Ahsan Mahmood is an experienced veteran who has worked in the retail industry for the past 22 years.
Throughout his professional career, he has held major positions at many departments, factories and international apparel brands. He has worked for Padma Poly Cotton, Square Fashion, Synergies Sourcing, Mayoral Moda Infantil, and Gina Tricot. In January 2024, he began working for Nordic Sourcing.
Nordic Sourcing, a Bangladeshi company founded in 2020, specialises in garment fashion. Its focus is on denim, thick knit, jersey, woven, and handicrafts.
According to Ahsan Mahmood, “Our business plan is to collaborate with carefully selected factories and brands to achieve long-term growth! We see ourselves as a modern buying and sourcing firm that caters to our customers’ demands. A new and easier way of working. Most of our buyers are from Europe.”
