Gertsch & Fashion Vision Consulting of Germany have developed an innovative Made-to-Measure solution “Una Cum Alqo” that is designed to process made-to-measure orders in a fast, competent and safe manner. In a made-to-measure (MTM) scenario, the customer’s measurements are first taken by a made-to-measure retailer, after which a base pattern is selected that most closely corresponds with the customer’s measurements. This base pattern is altered to match the customer’s measurements and the garment is constructed from this altered pattern.
Integrating all the aspects of MTM, processes of order processing, export-import report generation and production planning are also covered by Una Cum Alqo.
The technology comprises of 6 modules, namely, Scriptcontroller, Add-2-Order, 4-Reseller, 4-Manufacture, 4-Import and Dashboard. The Scriptcontroller is the central module of the system which performs the tasks of defining additional parameters and linking them with other modules and systems. All the order-related processes like order registration, confirmation and order status is undertaken by the 4-Reseller and Add-2-Order modules.
The aspects of pattern making, lay planning and creation of Production Orders is handled by the 4-Manufacture module by integration of the Grafis CAD solution and the Autonester-T with the system. The 4-Import module is responsible for data exchange between the existing systems like ERP etc. and generating various reports subject to the transactions. The solution supports slack sizes and other anthropometric body measurements according to the model or customer. The different modules can be used and configured, as per the requirements. There are import interfaces available for taking data of foreign shops or Bodyscanners as well as export interfaces to ERP-systems for the output of order-data for the invoicing or for the automatic output of the consumption of materials in ERP-systems.
