Japanese company Hashima is a name known in the sewing industry for its finishing equipment, from needle detectors to fusing/heat transfer pressing machines, and laminating machines. Offering a range of over 200 machines, the company has built itself a reputation offering reliability and quality through its products to its vast customer base.
The company exhibited its new table top needle detector, model HN-410, at the recently held Osaka Sewing Machine Show. Even though a compact device, 120 mm (W) X 560 mm (L) X 67 mm (H), it offers a detection area of 20 mm (W) X 400 mm (D). This detector is suitable for needle detection in the final stage; it is installed at the side of a checkout counter in a shop.
The detection method of the device is based on magnetic induction. Detecting adjustment is selectable in 2 steps: high and low. If a needle is detected, then the buzzer will sound and LED alarm will be issued.
