Comez from Italy specializing in narrow fabric technology, has come up with new Comez – DNB/EL-1270 – a complete line of narrow fabric machine with a wide working width of 1270 mm. The company has under it portfolio crochet knitting machines, weaving needle looms and warp knitting machines used for the production of a wide range of narrow fabrics, medical articles and technical textiles.
Using individual latch needles which come in a range of gauges from 5 to 18 needles per inch, the machine is equipped with 12 pattern guide bars with electronic control and knockover sinker groups that can be supplied on request.
The technical applications of the Comez – DNB/EL-1270 includes netting for sports equipment, high resistance ribbons in special fibres; fabrics for geotextiles applications such as automotive, building and industrial sectors. The medical applications include the tubular elastic netting, emergency bandages and dressings and disposable underwear.
The new Comez machine can work with any type of yarn. The electronic drive of the yarn feeders and the fabric take-down allows the possibility of different stitch density values (stitches/cm) on one single product, as well as different values for weft or warp feeding and elasticity.
The machine is fitted with the new Data Control which manages all necessary machine functions, monitors production data and allows for the realization of lengthy pattern repeats. The number of lines for each pattern can reach unlimited value, claims the company.
