61st National Garment Fair of CMAI (Clothing Manufacturers Association of India) is scheduled from 29th June to 1st July 2015 in Mumbai which will have over 780 brands showcasing their latest festive collections. Around 40,000 Retailers from all over India are expected to visit this B2B Fair.
The CMAI has also introduced online registration for the first time for visitors to save time and have quick entry to the fair. The business networking sessions which were a significant part of the show last time, will continue this year as well; moreover, e-commerce companies have also been invited to participate in the session this year.
Rahul Mehta, President, CMAI informed that the B2B Fair will be spread over 5 lakh square feet, covering all the Halls at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. There will be more than 700 stalls displaying over 780 Brands. He also shared that the association will set up 50 training centres to impart training to 35,000 trainees by 31st March, 2017. It has already established 35 training centres across six states.
The CMAI has invited Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Minister of State for Textiles (I/C), to be the Chief Guest and inaugurate the fair. Dr. S.K. Panda, Secretary (Textiles) will be the Guest of Honour at the fair.
