APLF, world’s leading leather trade show showcasing material trends, tanneries and machinery suppliers, has announced new fair dates for the years 2018 and 2019 – being shifted from end of the month to mid-month – 14th to 16th March for 2018 and 13th to 15th March for 2019. However, the 2017 edition of the fair will take place on its usual dates – from March 29-31 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong.
This decision to shift the dates from end of March, a rule since the past three decades, was taken due to the proximity of the Easter vacation during that time, which caused problems in terms of traveling for the event. By moving away from the Easter vacation, both exhibitors and visitors would benefit from a less crowded travel schedule and find it easier to book flights before the Easter travel rush gets into full swing.

APLF conducted consultations with other fair organizers in the leather sector regarding the change of dates so as to avoid any clashes or overlap of dates. The organizers are certain that these new days will prove to be both convenient and popular with participants of the global leather and fashion industry that come to Hong Kong.
The well-established APLF presents a wide range of leather products of all types, including sustainable leathers, luxury and exotic leathers and process chemicals.
