2,439 trade visitors from around 44 countries attended the inaugural edition of Leatherworld Middle East held from May 4-6, 2015 in Dubai, which witnessed participation of 86 exhibitors from 16 countries. “On show were hundreds of variations of animal hides, production machinery and chemicals, to leather handbags, footwear, accessories, and garments,” Messe Frankfurt informed, organiser of the show. It also informed that it was the three-day event’s Trend Area that grabbed plenty of attention with its exclusive range of luxurious global leather innovations being seen for the first time in the region.
