
The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), has launched a month-long training course at the Training Centre of Panchagarh Youth Development office for around 30 youths (both male and female), all of them from the former enclaves in Panchagarh district town, recently. Aimed at turning the youths into skilled human resources, the free training on Sweater Knitting and Linking Machine Operation is being organized by BGMEA in association with the Youth Development Department. After the training programme, conducted by expert trainers of BGMEA Ali Hassan and Sohrab Hossain, the unemployed youths of the erstwhile enclaves would be absorbed in country’s export-oriented RMG sector in respective positions as per their training and expertise.
