Aimed at establishing collaboration between Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Centre for Industrial Production (CIP) of Aalborg University and Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) concerning improvement of productivity and occupational health and safety (OHS) in the RMG industry of Bangladesh, BGMEA, CIP and AUST signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently to collaborate on a research project entitled health, safety and productivity in the readymade garment industry in Bangladesh. Professor Peter Hasle of CIP – Aalborg University, BGMEA President Md. Atiqul Islam and Professor AMM Saifullah, Vice Chancellor of AUST, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations, being attended by Denmark’s Ambassador to Bangladesh Hanne Fugl Eskjær and BGMEA’s VP (Finance) Reaz Bin Mahmood.
