
NKD, the German fashion brand, has donated Antigen Test Kits to a fund initiated by the apex garment makers’ body, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), to assist those affected by the coronavirus pandemic even as the Country Manager of Sun Fortune Limited (a subsidiary of NKD) Anchana SUDSAVANG handed over the antigen test kits to BGMEA’s Shahidullah Azim recently.
Media reports maintained this adding Shahidullah Azim while welcoming the donation stated even if the pandemic has unfolded harsh realities, it also brought people closer with the mindset of kindness and cooperation to deal with the unprecedented crisis even as he called upon people and organisations including fashion brands to come forward and make contribution to the BGMEA’s fund to help the people in need.
Senior Merchandise Manager of Sun Fortune Limited Ziaul Hoque and BGMEA Director Rajib Chowdhury amongst others were, reportedly, present at the handover ceremony held at capital Dhaka.
