
A sister concern of Bangladesh’s Paramount Group, Paramount Textile Limited, is all set to pump in US $ 85.45 million — US $ 70.45 million for BMRE (Balancing, Modernisation, Rehabilitation and Expansion) and US $ 15 million to set up a new fabric unit — to increase its production capacity.
Sharing further information of the same, Company Secretary of Paramount Textile Md. Robiul Islam, reportedly, maintained the company decided to invest keeping with the growing demand for manufactured products while adding textile entrepreneurs got huge orders even as he underlined the production capacity of the new fabric unit will be 400 tonnes/month, which will almost double the total production capacity.
Meanwhile, reports claimed foreign term loans will be the source of the fund while adding Paramount Textile Limited will receive this fund in instalments as work progresses.
It may be mentioned here that incorporated in 2006, Paramount Textile produces and delivers woven fabrics even as more than 85 per cent of its total income, reportedly, comes from yarn-dyed fabrics.
