The long-awaited project of the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA), Chittagong Bay Terminal, has gained pace following Bangladesh Government appointing two Korean consulting firms to prepare a detailed design and supervise construction of the Bay Terminal.
Media reports maintained this citing the Shipping Ministry, according to which, the Korean firms Dian Yang Construction and Engineering Company Limited and Kunhwa Engineering and Consulting Company Limited are expected to submit the detailed design within three months even as the Government aims to start construction by January next year.
It may be mentioned here the CPA had on 31 May signed a deal with the Korean firms on the Bay Terminal project.
