
Even as Bangladesh is on course to become a developed country by 2041, the President of the Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury Parvez has called upon Germany to support the country (Bangladesh) in training its manpower, keeping the same in perspective.
Media reports maintained this adding the BCI President underlined the same when he called upon Achim Tröster, German Ambassador in Dhaka, at the latter’s office even as he further, reportedly, added Bangladesh’s economy has been growing at 7-8 per cent over the years under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina while also adding the Bangladesh Prime Minister has set a target to turn the country into a developed one by 2041.
Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury Parvez, who is also a former BGMEA President and also the Managing Director of Evince Group, stated Bangladesh will require skilled and trained workers in different industrial sectors while adding the German Government and industrialists could help Bangladesh in grooming necessary and went on to state German trainers can use the existing infrastructure of Directorate of Technical Education in imparting training to Bangladesh trainers who, in turn, will help groom skilled workers.
