EPB and BGMEA sign deal to develop skills of garment workers: Reports

Bangladesh’s Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and the country’s apex garment makers’ body, BGMEA, recently signed an agreement pertaining to skill development of mid-level managers and workers of garment factories through training.

Media reports maintained this adding the agreement was signed by BGMEA President Faruque Hassan and EPB Director General Mahbubur Rahman on behalf of their respective organisations at the EPB office.

EPB Vice-Chairman of AHM Ahsan was also, reportedly, present at the signing ceremony.
